The final event of MIDIH “Gare du MIDIH” took place on September 22, 2020.
Three virtual Digital Transformation Trains left the station “Gare du MIDIH” at 9.00, 10.45 and 12.15 CET. The full programme and details about the speakers can be found on the event website.
On July 8th from 10.00 to 11.00 CEST, MIDIH partners Luleå Tekniska Universitet, fortiss and Politecnico di Milano will introduce the open Arrowhead and 4diac IEC 61499 software development frameworks for next-generation, hardware independent control software. They will also show practical examples explaining how these frameworks work together.
The aim of the workshop is to provide concrete evidence of the implementation of Data Sovereignty in a DIH-orientedH2020 Innovation Action such as MIDIH.

MIDIH Open Call closed on June 29th. We received 41 proposals submitted by manufacturing SMEs and tecnology providers from 14 countries . The evaluation and selection has been completed and 16 proposals have been selected for funding.

MIDIH will participate in the FIWARE TECH SUMMIT 2017 – 28-29 Nov 2017, Malaga (Spain). The FIWARE Summit unites more than 500 developers, entrepreneurs, decision-makers, thought leaders, business executive and investors to exchange views and developments on how smart IoT and Open Data solutions can be implemented in the areas of Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Smart AgriFood and Smart Energy.
In order to discuss the challenges ahead and future opportunities for digital manufacturing platforms, the European Commission and the European Factories of the Future Research Association (EFFRA) will organize a dedicated workshop. The purpose is to discuss what specific platforms would need to be addressed, developed and piloted at EU level in the near future. During the workshop previous and ongoing activities in this area will be also taken into account, as well as the opportunities for future development. MIDIH has been invited to present its Reference Implementation (edge, IDS, MindSphere)
The workshop will be held on 19 October 2017 in Brussels.
MIDIH kick-off meeting took place in Burssels on 3rd and 4th October. All project partners’ attended the meeting, where they presented their roles, expertise and main objective within the project. Moreover, during the WP presentations, first initial technical discussion where generated, showing great interest to achieve expected goals.
