The final event of MIDIH “Gare du MIDIH” took place on September 22, 2020.
Three virtual Digital Transformation Trains left the station “Gare du MIDIH” at 9.00, 10.45 and 12.15 CET. The full programme and details about the speakers can be found on the event website.
During the virtual train rides, MIDIH provided insights about MIDIH Services for Digital Innovation Hubs and how MIDIH enabled the network of DIHs supporting the potential of the digital age and the innovation capacity of the industries.
Furthermore, the participants also got an overview about MIDIH Open Source Digital Manufacturing Platforms and the role of standard-based Reference Architectures in the Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry.
And last but not least, MIDIH showcased the Innovation and Collaboration Platforms in Networks of Regional Manufacturing DIHs, and how the MIDIH DIHIWARE platform can support the community growth through the services that the DIHs are providing.

10:45 TRAIN 2: From Gare du MIDIH to Open Source Digital Manufacturing Platforms How MIDIH Open Source Platform comply with the Digital Manufacturing Platform focus area in H2020 & with the I4MS Phase III program: Role of standard-based Reference Architectures & Open Source reference implementations in the Digital Transformation of manufacturing industry will be debated, thanks to the presence of MIDIH industrial pilots in Smart Product, Smart Factory & Smart Supply Chain pilots.
12:15 TRAIN 3: From Gare du MIDIH to Innovation & Collaboration Platform for regional manufacturing DIHs (DIHIWARE) DIHIWARE, the services provided & how the platform will support the community growth through the services that the DIHs will provide: DIHs are at the core of the future EC programs – Digital Europe Program, InvestEU, Horizon Europe a European Regional Development Funds. DIHIWARE allows providers & consumers of digital technologies to not just matching assets and needs, but also collaborate together towards joint innovation. The resulting marketplace helps companies to become more competitive & DIHs network act as a unique entity widening his presence and doing more business.
