Experimentation is one of the key activities in the MIDIH project addressing it on two levels: Lighthouse experiments and cross-border Regional experiments (Open Calls).
The three Lighthouse experiments address most relevant manufacturing industrial sectors:
These Lighthouse experiments cover three industrial scenarios – Smart Factory, Smart Product and Smart Value Chain and use the MIDIH Reference Architecture.
To complement what is done by the Lighthouse Experiments, MIDIH is supporting cross-border regional experiments that are selected in two Open Calls.
The Open Calls experiments aim at complementing functionalities around MIDIH reference architecture and performing experiments in CPS/IOT based on the components provided by the architecture. These experiments have attracted SMEs from all over Europe, make them available the full pallet of innovation services of MIDIH and practically demonstrate the power and effectiveness of MIDIH as a one-stop-shop. 32 experiments have been selected in the two Open Calls.
